Shaw said that the need for a new warehousing complex is being added immediately. The facility will add another 120,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and distribution capability to our complex. The demand from customers has necessitated this move, Shaw said. With this addition the finished product storage at Knox will exceed 200,000 sq. ft. and be able to hold over 40,000 tons of lawn and garden and ice melting products for immediate shipment to customers. Also just completed is the addition of a complete analytical laboratory for the purpose of quality assurance and release. With these two new tools, Know will improve its shipments to customers within hours of production if needed. We are entering a new period in our industry, both strategic and quality orientated and we will meet this new challenge this coming year, Shaw said.
